about us

All projects Programme, Services and Activities of FAITH-INDIA, although each activity seems to be an individual unit by itself, are planned and appropriately placed in a schematic structure to function in an integrated manner. Each Project/ Programme with a sequence of activities in each constitutes a component of a composite action package in the rehabilitation/development of any person with disability.

Placement of activity sequence in a package may vary from one person to the another with reference to individual requirements such as nature of deed, nature and level of disability, nature of response from the family and community around, socio economic cultural factors etc. There from the vision behind all our activities is holistic development of a person as a human being in totality with his or her scope of abilities and limitations included.

FAITH-INDIA is combined short form of Foundation for Ability Improvement and Technology for the Handicapped – INDIA. Established on 21-06-1986 in a sub-urban area of Ernakulam,we operate on a national jurisdiction .FAITH-INDIA has now twenty major institutions and projects along with a number of other services and activities for the development, rehabilitation, equalization and full participation of persons belonging to all disability categories namely the mentally retarded ,the visually handicapped, the hearing handicapped and loco motor disabled.
