Overview
FAITH-INDIA is combined short form of Foundation for Ability Improvement and Technology for the Handicapped – INDIA. Established on 1986 in a sub-urban area of Ernakulam, we operate on a national jurisdiction.
FAITH-INDIA has now twenty major institutions and projects along with a number of other services and activities for the development, rehabilitation, equalization and full participation of persons belonging to all disability categories namely the mentally retarded, the visually handicapped, the hearing handicapped and loco motor disabled.

Holistic Development
- Survey Identification and Assessment
- Early Intervention
- Psycho-physical coordination and education through yoga, meditation, and exercises.
- Facilitating self-employment activities for the mentally retarded.
- Pre-Vocational and vocational training on a “Simple to complex development basis.
- Parental Counseling
- Social and community grooming and interaction development activities.
- Promotion of spontaneous creative activity such as music, dance, drawing, painting, gardening, etc.
- Community awareness and sensitization programmes.
- Environment friendliness promotion.
- Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, and Speech Therapy
- Support for obtaining various facilities and concessions available to the mentally retarded.
- Advocacy on protection of rights, equal opportunities, and participation.
- Designing and developing and supply of cost effective teaching–learning aids.
- Conducting Special Olympics meet.
- Conducting exhibition and demonstration regarding abilities of mentally retarded.
- Cultural skill development activities.
- Pre-Primary, Primary, and Secondary level of education through interdisciplinary approach on individualized need basis.
