“ Asato Maa Satgamayah” (go from the non existent to the existent) is the base dictum on which FAITH-INDIA has been built up. “Sat” is the only truth which has existence. “Asat” means non-existent and hence FAITH-INDIA came into being. “Disability” means Ability which is non-existent whenever we refer to a person “Disabled” emphasis is only on his or her nonexistent ability/faculty i.e., “Asat”. Emphasis of FAITH-INDIA is only on abilities of a person i.e., “Sat”.
FAITH-INDIA i.e., Foundation for Ability Improvement and Technology for the Handicapped –India, has been innovating to devise an appropriate mechanism to unfold inner abilities of a person with disability through integrated utilization of his or her residual sensory faculties aided by assistive devices and new techniques.
